Frequently Asked Questions
Doing this seminar can we book ticket and have access to sell?
The 3-hour in-person and 1-hour online class is your introduction on becoming a certified travel agent and what it takes to ensure that this is the right profession or side-gig for you. Thereafter, in order to legally sell travel in Ontario, you will need to pass the TICO exam. It’s quite easy and we’re here to guide you.
So then after would have to work a full time or a part time said I pass the test
It’s completely up to you. You can start part time until you get the hang of it or jump right in and make a full career change. That is up to you and your destiny. We just help give you the tools and knowledge to get you there and become a certified travel agent in Canada.

Do the attendees automatically get “certified” after the training?
Selling travel is government regulated in some provinces so further training via the government’s websites are necessary for those provinces but we’ll go through all of this in the training event. We hope you can make it!
Fees and duration of course please
The cost is only $59 for a 3-hour in-person course. The online version is complimentary (though not as comprehensive as the in-person event and does not include the workbook).
I am already a certified travel agent. Can I still attend?
Congratulations on your certification! Yes of course you can still attend. We will cover travel industry regulations and compensation, 5-steps of becoming a travel entrepreneur, benefits of working from home & setting up your home office, travel products including air, cruise, tour operators, hotels and more, exclusive booking technology and tools to make travel reservations, customer service tips and tricks and all attendees will receive a comprehensive Travel Entrepreneur Workbook and access to exclusive online learning material. Hopefully you will find this information useful to start off your career as a professional travel entrepreneur.
Are there any requirement for this training?
No, there are no requirements to attend this class. Just bring yourself and a passion to learn about this exciting career. We supply the workbook and the knowledge on how to become a certified travel agent. Thereafter it’s up to you what you’d like to do with that new-found knowledge. We hope to see you there!
There are no other costs to attend this class. However, to become a certified TICO travel agent (required by the government to sell travel), you’ll need to pass their exam (it’s easy and we’ll guide you how). The online exam cost is $35. Thereafter you could apply for a job as a travel agent or start your own travel business (side gig or full-time). Having your own business comes with operating expenses (marketing, insurance, home-office expenses, hosting fees, etc) but we show you ways on how you write them off against your income and how to budget for your business and get set up super inexpensively that will yield the most profits. It’s an exciting career and we hope you can make it to the class to learn more!
