Meet Your Instructors

Jo Lynch was a successful entrepreneur in the Hospitality Trade before entering the Travel Industry in 1999. There she began her second career as a Travel Consultant. With her love for travel as her motivator, she developed a passion for the Cruise Industry. After four years as a consultant, she began the second phase of her career as a District Sales Manager with Encore Cruises. There she was able to train and develop her expertise for the fastest-growing segment in the travel business. She represented 15 of the world’s top cruise lines, varying from 3 to 6-star luxury.

In 2007 Jo joined Viking Cruises as Direct of Business Development for Eastern Canada. Here, she focused on training and educating agents on the lucrative business of selling river cruises. She remained with Viking until 2018. With great enthusiasm, she continues to widen her savoir-faire on representing river cruising in the USA, hotels and resorts, and luxury Expedition cruising worldwide.

Laurie Keith founded her first travel agency in Canada over 30 years ago with a combined passion for both travel and business. After selling the agency to a publicly-traded dot.com company in 2000, she offered sales and marketing consultation services to big brands in the industry before the entrepreneurial spirit called her back to retail. Since 2004, she has built a multi-million dollar host travel agency with over 100 independent advisors who specialize in niche travel from the luxury travel markets, to destination weddings and romance, to family holidays, cruises and more.
